Kashmir often referred to as Paradise on Earth

Kashmir, often referred to as "Paradise on Earth," is a region located in the northern part of the Indian subcontinent, known for its stunning natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, and complex political history. The region is part of the larger Kashmir Valley, nestled in the majestic Himalayas, and is famous for its lush green landscapes, snow-capped mountains, tranquil lakes, and vibrant traditions.

Geography and Climate

Kashmir is geographically located in the northernmost part of India, bordered by Pakistan-administered Kashmir to the west, China to the east, and Himachal Pradesh to the south. The region is predominantly mountainous, with its landscape dominated by the towering peaks of the Himalayas and the Pir Panjal Range. The Jhelum River runs through the valley, providing both scenic beauty and fertile lands.

Kashmir has a temperate climate, with harsh winters and pleasant summers.
